Well, the two games can't really be compared, it depends on your taste in games. If you are a RPG type person, go for Skyrim which is an amazing game. If you are a FPS type person go for BF3, which is also an amazing game. If I were to choose one of them (I have both) I whould probably buy Skyrim. I personally played Skyrim for 90 hours in less than two weeks and I have played BF3 for around 60 hours in a couple of months. Skyrim isn't multiplayer though, so if you want to play with friends go for BF3. To be honest you can't really choose the wrong title, because they are both great!

I voted Skyrim solely because of your username. haha
Both are good, but can't be compared as they are of different genre's I'd say. BF3 if you want a good FPS, Skyrim if you want to be alone in the nordic lands of deer hunters.

It all depends on what you want to do. If you are looking for an RPG game then you can't really go wrong with Skyrim. If you're looking for a FPS then obviously go with BF3. You're going to enjoy both of them but it all depends on your own personal preferences.

Since your username says ArrowSlinger, go for Skyrim. You'd wanna avoid BF3 for now at all costs. I have BF3 but i don't think you wanna deal with headaches from Dice's sloppy work.

Personally I am an FPS person and I find Skyrim Extremely enjoyable =)
I'm biased since I'm not a huge FPS fan, but I voted for Skyrim anyway.
I have them both.. but I'd say Skyrim first.. You get an ungodly amount of play time, and don't have to deal with the hackers making the game retardedly unfun

Sloppy work? What are you really aiming towards by that statement?
Sure there are bugs, but Skyrim as well has alot of them, even more I would say.
