New Azza Fusion 4000, mind = blown - Page 3

I've been eye-balling this case. Very interested.

Newegg.ca in stock @ $279.99 + $69.49 shipping (ouch)
and
NCIX pre-order @ 259.99 with a warning that final price might change

I like my HAF X's looks a little better even though they are in the same ballpark. I would love a higher-end version of the Fusion, with brushed aluminum.
Top section would be for WC parts.I like the pull-down panels. A 480 rad fits on top, i wonder if a P/P with shrouds would fit though.
What i don't like are the ugly HD PCBs showing, would need to jettison those.

Hmmm, what to do...

I just noticed this case today myself. Here's a look at some of the possibilities. ohno-smiley02.gif

I'm possibly a bit biased....but I really do like what Azza are trying to do, they wont win everyone over, but they are aren't afraid of doing something different.
If their Hurrican is anything to go by, it will be a solid case.

I'm wondering, if you do a setup like in the above picture, wouldn't the hot air coming from the bottom rad blowing into the top compartment impact the cooling of the second rad?

Yea, its not ideal but its not going to kill your temps, especially with a 480 rad. I've seen plenty of people stack rads with fans in between.

If your intake temps are cool enough you should be fine. Maybe 1-2 degrees at most which isn't going to be killer in a WC system.

It's a sweet case except for the exterior looks. I wish they made it flat brushed alum or something.

Well i guess i'll let you guys know since i just ordered the case thumb.gif

btw, i was looking through the manual and if you are not going to install a mini system on top then you can replace the top back cover with a fan cover, so i will use that as an intake and have some cooler air helping on top.

I've drawn a bunch of layouts for wc, but will have to wait until i get it to see exactly what i'll be dealing with. But nevertheless my brain is exploding with ideas. I already ordered parts for my HAF X, so most of that will be used, phew, but i will be ordering more, well, because i have more room now biggrin.gif

maybe its so that you can use the itx system when not gaming to save on power consumption or reduce noise etc
post #29 of 34
I have the strangest boner right now.....
Although I would like to have the mini itx rig to browse, stream, or a dedicated server-firewall system!

We just received Fusion 4000 for review, but I still like the new CM Cosmos II Ultra that I reviewed better. For the Azza Fusion 4000 review, we will be installing a 480 and 360 Rad, and most likely another X79 system
