Unlock HP Compaq Asus IPIBL-LB (Benicia) Bios???

I just got this PC form wok they were going to throw it out.

I want to unlock the bios so I can OC and whatnot.

Im not worried about ruining it by flashing the bios.

Just hoping someone can provide some links for the bios and utility to flash. Im an intel noob.

I doubt it. I've tried unlocking OEM board in the past, and so far I've had 100% failure rate, lol. The only thing you could possibly do, would get your PLL number and see if you can overclock using SetFSB, ClockGen or something like that.

How do I find out my PLL number?

Here we go. Download SetFSB here

Your PLL should be: CV174C as seen here

Under SetFSB, select CV174CPAG and click Get FSB.

Get to overclocking

Nice can I do voltages and everything with that software?

No voltage changes with SetFSB, but you might get lucky with some other programs. I can't really say for sure on the 775 socket, but I have used CrystalCPU to change voltages with AMD setups before.

How high can you get with no voltage changes?

Hi,

i got this mobo, bios v5.43 and pll is CV190BPAG. With setfsb i choose my pll and click setfsb and then my pc freezes. What can i do about this?
