system restarts when playing skyrim ( SLI GTX 260 )

Thread Starter
ok first off my temps
GPU 1 - 70-75c
GPU 2 - 60-65c
thats from folding
core 700MHZ shader 1510 MHZ memory is underclocked to 999MHZ (stability)

ok when folding i dont get this issue yet the GPU`s are more stressed than gaming
but roughly 2-5 mins after starting skyrim first cut screen

my system cuts out and restarts im sure its not from my temps as i have recently reseated them ( it did lower my temps to values above )

what could it be

i have a 750W PSU guessing max combined load of 500-550W
stock power consumption 180w each from nvidia site so combined load 360w ( nvidia`s overestimate)
overclocked @ stock voltes 400-430W combined rough estimate

stuff in my case
1 DVD RW
1 500GB HDD
1 65w I3 2100
3 fans from molex ( led )
2 fans from mobo ( sys fan and CPU )
2 cold cathodes from 1 inverter
2 GTX 260 obviously 192sp & 216SP

http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine
calculates 500W PSU required

I have had this issue with some of the recent games. Sounds strange but take your CPU and return it back to its default clock and see what happens.

eh, well that worked for me. Some people seem to just hace problems with skyrim.
Found this today

That crappy PSU you got there has a 540 watts 12 Volt.
Even if you use 500 watts, with such a cheap unit it might not even be able to deliver 400 watts.

That is your problem.

EDIT: Your motherboard isn't SLI compatible either.
