You have something else that is wrong. MSI Afterburner will not start until after Windows finishes booting. It's a program in Windows, you will see the screen flicker when it activates the overclock settings.

Clear your CMOS or start troubleshooting what is wrong with your PC.

I tried booting on the integrated GPU, but it didn't work, i'll try it again.

Try this take the card out hook up the onboard at boot go into the BIOS turn on or select onboard graphics also set the CD-ROM as the first boot device and put in your Windows disk and boot from it and choose "Repair your computer"

This link will begin the Windows 7 System Recovery Options which contains several useful diagnostic and repair tools, one of which is Startup Repair. Which will give you the option to do a system restore.

0x07B error is INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE so your Windows 7 installation got corrupted.

It won't boot in safe mode with the iGPU.

@Lee79
My board does not have a DVI, but comes with adapter.

It will still hang even when the GPU is not there.

So even if you leave your card in or use the iGPU it won't matter what you use as the graphics is not the problem you need to boot from your Windows 7 DVD and do a system restore as your Windows has been corrupted as in my last post.

Well then you got two options reinstall Windows 7 or try some of the options on this site

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/stop0x0000007b.htm

You might be able to save some of your stuff like Pictures, Music and Videos if you put the drive in another PC before you wipe it and extract your stuff to a HDD, CDR's,DVDR or USB stick before you reinstall Windows 7. After you reinstall Windows set-up Windows 7 backup as shown on this site to save yourself if it ever happens again.

I don't even have any pictures or any data needy of saving, so I just re-installed Windows 7.

Lesson learned: DON'T SCREW WITH YOUR GPU. 'Nuff said.

I'm also going to regularly backing up my windows onto a thumb drive.

Thanks all though.

I think this is a very good reason to have two hard drives or two partitions! 1 for software etc. that would need to be re-done after a fresh install anyway, and one for data! Keeps it safe in case windows goes wonky! If you back up then feel free to mess with your GPU all you like! No harm, no foul wink.gif
