Anyone here have a HDTV DLP that's had issues with stuck white/black "pixels"?

I have had my Mitsubishi wd65733 for almost 4 years now. It has been flawless since day one, until I had to finally replace the bulb a couple weeks ago. I, of course, replaced with an oem Philips unit. But about a week after replacing it, I noticed a single white "pixel" in the middle of the screen. From what I've read, it's the DMD or as the commercial went, "the mirrors". I now have two single pixels stuck on white. Has anyone had problems like this before?

I was thinking about taking the light engine apart if it continued to get worse, like it's supposed to according to the findings I've been reading. Since they are tiny mirrors that move, I was going to try and lightly shoot some compressed air at the chip... I figure if it gets bad enough, I won't care about making it worse(since it will already be unwatchable in my opinion).

I guess this is why they quietly phased out DLP's. They seemed like such a great alternative years ago. When I got my 65" for $1700, Best Buy had a 65" Plasma selling for $9000.

Had the same issue with my Mitsubishi 65". it is almost 6 years old. Did not start right after changing the bulb though, Started with one while pixel. After about 4 months I had about 2 dozen or so while pixels and several black ones across the middle part of the screen. Did some research and just decided that it was not worth the expense of having a technician fix it or me buy the light engine and fix it myself and hope it worked. Real shame too. It has a great picture.

Just decided to buy a new TV. Picked up a LG 60PV450 at Video Only for $1000. That was just before Christmas. Real happy with it so far. The Mitsubishi sits out in my shop with a sheet over it for now.
