So their typos are no surprise to me after seeing how the hole community works ! OCN is full of people that are willing to help one another, and thats what a forum is for!
Back on topic... Sorry just really shocking how bad a experience I had with guru3d
Insulting the main developer of Afterburner and RivaTuner doesn't help.
That's why Hilbert banned you.
Yeah. Slice258, Unwinder is right. There is no software modding of memory voltages on reference cards period. They don't contain any MVDC like the MSI LIghtning does. And you trying to say he doesn't know what he's talking about couldn't be further from the truth. He is one of the few people that knows exactly what he is talking about.

All 400/500/ 5000/6000 cards have onboard OCP that will kick in if the card draws too much power in order to protect itself. You can't disable it unless you have a non-ref model like the MSI Lightning with a switch for it. Furmark will trigger this quite easily, especially when over-volting.
edit: Turns out he wasn't using Furmark for the power draw. 195W stock and 305W overclocked. Similar to [H]'s OC review.Edited by PoopaScoopa - 1/10/12 at 1:59am
