Hmmmm.

Air is naturally going to be expelled by whichever way is easiest. There are two options for the air to go out with one being going up into the rest of the case and the other being through the exhaust fans. Normally exhaust fans are unnecessary in that air will naturally run out but since the OP does not want the hot air to go up having those fans will make it easier for the air to go out the back of the case as opposed to into the top of the case.

Question, are the GTX 580's you are buying going to be 3gb versions? because if they aint, you will be bottlenecked by that with that monitor. (I am with my cards frown.gif )

Norlig,

Yes, they all are 3GB versions...yeah the bottleneck was in my mind, so I went with the 3GB versions...I did check the cards with a makeshift set up and saw BF3 on ultra settings went upto 1800MB of memory usage per card...Glad I have the 3GB ones:-)

Hmmmm.

cHaoSphEre,
I wanted fans with low noise. I couldn't find any 140mms with low noise level and decent performance. The high performance ones I found were high DB fans as well. The fan holes on the back of the pedestal unit are for 140mm fans only. Please let me know if you see any good 140 mms with low noise/high performance and I will buy em.

NuclearSlurpee,

EVGA Hydro copper 2s are not Classified version and so they don't have the highly stable power circuitry of the Classified versions. Hydro Copper 2s can't be overclocked like the Classified versions due to that reason...HC2 version do come in 3GB version but they are just not extreme overclockers. I had three HC2s before in tri sli but were never able to go above 930MHz. With the Classys 1GHz is very easy to do as you can increase voltage without worrying about damaging the cards. I sold my HC2s for that reason.

ok...time for some mod work...I know the TH10 itself its awesome, you can do lot of stuff without even taking the dremel once in your hand...but I like to do some mods..My old Corsair 800D was crying to leave her alone since I kept dremelling her up...lol

so there it goes....

I picked up some 1/2 inch think black acrylic from my local plastic shop..used my friend's folding machine to do some cutting and drilling. Here is the end result:

I installed the Bitspower 250mm Multi Tank on the first plate. It has two 1 inch diameter holes for routing tubes/fittings for the dual pumps in the pump compartment area. You will get an idea once I show you pictures how I am putting it inside the case. The second plate is the base plate will be sitting on the case bottom covering the base. The two 1.25 inch holes on the bottom will be for routing tubing from downstairs from the pedestal. The base plate will hold the EK Advanced 400mm reservoir mounted horizontal on the base...I haven't installed the 400mm reservoir yet, that will be my next work.
