OCN Versus EGC - Battlefield 3 Scrimmage - Page 31

Yeah. I was set up as backup, but when i noticed that i was like the 10'th in line i had no hope of getting to play and therefor i pulled out from the backup list. That beeing said great job to those that did their best and we will get them next time.

I for one had a great time.
I come here a lot to read these forums and recently have become more active helping other but last night I was wearing the EGC tags and game with them regular.
They are a great group of guys that like to have fun.
The 1st game we had no idea it was live and many of us we just sitting and waiting for a start because the teams were so unbalanced.
If you ask me they should have tossed out that round all together.
We actually had guys dropping out because we thought you guys would never get it together at that same time.
We had two squads per TS3 channel so I know of at lest 8 players who were just farting around.
We had no idea it would count. That said with all those peeps we finally put together It was great fun and a very close match
I wish we had played another 10 rounds and I do hope we do this again.
About the server it was definitely having trouble and crashed 3 times or was restarted either way it was problematic as I'm sure everyone is aware.
When it was full and several of us were pinging the server some were loosing packets all over the place.
Then again for others they were fine we had one guy with an 8 yep 8 ping It happens.
I for one had a lot of stuttering and I don't see that on every server when I do I just go somewhere else
But I figure in a scrim like that what comes around goes around so we all had the same things going on.
The good news is we got together played a great game and had a terrific time doing it.

When you have players all over the US, not much you can do about bad routes, any location you pick someone will probably have an issue. The next time we want to scrim and evga not hosting an event we can use one of evga servers.

I was playing from the UK and my connection was rock solid all the time
