[Build Log] A black and white build by OCN Sockpirate (heavy 56k warning)

Getting Wet

Decided to get this build log going, parts should start flowing in within the next couple of weeks, be ready for tons of pictures/updates when parts do actually start to arrive.

Originally i planned to do a x79 build. but had a moment of clarity when i realized i would not really be utilizing the system i had planned to its full potential due to not enough time etc. So i will be expanding on my current 1155 rig and will wait for Ivy Bridge later in the year.

Just wanted to give a shout out to a few people who helped me along the way in general and with questions about this build, first and foremost munaim1 for helping me realize a few things and not jumping the gun (i always have the problem of too much money and not a lot of sense) munaim1 helps me realize this on numerous occasions ha ha. Also a big shout out to Los Hog who has helped me and continues to help me with my water cooling questions. Thanks guys!

Here are the planned parts below, pretty happy with the selection, although as for the GPUs may just settle for the hydro copper classifieds and not the hydro copper classified ultras, depending on what comes into stock first.

BIG EDIT: At this point, the pure beastliness of the 7970s cannot be overlooked, these cards are just seemingly the bees knees, and that is coming from an Nvidia fanboy! I have strictly been nvidia foe close to 10 years!
