Meh , i know how great they are . Although i am an nvidia fanboy, and this set up will not be a slouch by any means ha , although i did see the quadfire review on the 3960x and it was quite impressive. I will also be skipping Kepler once this build is finished.

I assume each channel is max output of 1amp right? That would be roughly 12w per channel. You really need 12 channels? lol
I think the Scythe Fan's are 0.34 amps at 12v so it would be around 4.2watts. You could have 2 fans per channel and only use 3 channels. Why not get a 6 channel controller with 30/40w output which would be enough like the Lamptron FC2 or the one I have, it's pretty decent (Akasa 6 channel controller) pics of it is in my sig - Sandy Transformed smile.gif

Touch screen? cool? usually ain't the best ones available. Most of them just look 'nice' but functionality is 'crippled' and you don't really get the best for what you pay unless it's all about looks. I would recommend the 'slick' look, does the job and looks good as well. I'm sure there are some touch screen ones that are also very very good, but most likely you're going to have to fork out quite a bit but I'll have a look and recommend a few and you can choose smile.gif

Obviously if you want to use more than one fan on once channel, you will require a fan splitter, either a 2 way or 3 way or like I mentioned a 4 way splitter.

See what I mean, forget the touch screen ones, I would highly recommend FC2 because of the number of fans you intend to get and the 45w per channel will certainly help.
