Thanks for the answer, that solves that problem. I do know that component speakers are better but to me it's not worth the installation time and having to fabricate things and run new wiring.
I do have a few more questions though:
I am looking at getting either two sets of Pioneer A1684R, D1602R, or D1302R. Which of these should give better sound (considering the specs, not people's personal preferences)? The A16 is a 4 way so in theory it should provide clearer sound, right? And I also like that it has a lower frequency response, because I don't have a separate subwoofer.
The D16 is the same as the D13 except it's 6.5" instead of 5.25". Will they both provide the same sound quality considering the low 14W continuous rms output from the receiver? My concern is that since the D16 is rated for higher wattage, it will sound quieter at 14W than the smaller speaker, is this true?
And will the D speakers sound better than the A speakers? It seems the D's are made of higher quality materials, but the A's have 4 separate components. Which should I get? Or will this be purely personal preference?
I don't want to turn this into a "which speaker is best" thread so I'd like responses based on the technical specs of the speakers.
