This would actually help Overclock.ru (our russian counterparts) as they have several folders who run liquid cooled loops outside their house to sub-zero cooling potential. There were some old threads back when we were passing their team on the overall leader-board that should be good for a laugh.

Overclock.ru has a single-core sempron that pumps out around 15ppd. EVERY BIT HELPS.

The admin's before were against it until it was going (when the chimp popped up). We need to convince them to get it up about a week or two ahead of time to slowly ramp up our folders.

As we saw last year, winning was a strategic thing rather than a brute force ppd war. HWC won by being able to fold waaaay over their average. While we could have done the same thing, HWC's average was much lower; they really didn't need to bring a lot online to be able to beat their average by a huge margin.
EVGA's folding is in turmoil because of the upcoming bigadv change.... a bunch of their folders moved over to WCG. So, I guess I gotta ask: Is there even going to be a Chimp Challenge 2012?
There should probably be a weighting based on "active folders" as well so a small team can't double in size by adding 5 people and take the trophy.
I'm actually looking into getting some legit torrents up so we can hand out working VMs of Linux to users via torrent that are preconfigured with corehack, etc to get them folding in a linux VM as OCNChimpin in minimal time.
