Help- I need to make my pc more quieter, it won't let me sleep. - Page 6

No noise so far and I have had them running all night since I got them. My rig is very quiet when i'm running the cougars in push pull on the h50. Had to rma my h50, got a coolermaster v6 as a place holder and now my rig is super loud. I've been running a cougar 140 on the bottom of my case and it hasn't made a peep yet. I think that bad review on newegg was just a fluke though. If cougar decides to release a 200mm fan I'll be replacing the ones that came in my CM Sniper as well. I've only had them for a couple of weeks so far though if they do fail and I have any problems with cougar replacing them I have confidence in newegg to take the ball and fix the problem.

And do you sleep with this rig in your room?

The v6 has a comparable or same fan as the hyper 212 evo. So if you could compare your v6 to the cougars, how louder is your v6? Now you see what I am dealing with, lol. My hyper 212 evo runs at 1000 rpm though, still a bit loud. Check your v6 fans out. You do hear that sorta buzzing or vibration or a different type of bearing noise right?

I think I will go with the 120mm Cougars. First, it is pwm. 2nd the noise rating is lower than the Noctua's. Noctua is 19.6, while this is 17.9, while they don't make much of a difference in noise, the cougar is pwm and has a higher CFM.

This is what I will get.

Thanks for your recommendation for it.
