Are you currently wanting to Overclock your CPU ? if not why would you want to add some voltage ? Post your current settings so I can help you out.

If I were you I would change the CPU Voltage to 1.5 / 1.6. is you're able to do it if not just test with out voltages under those mentionned. Make sure you Prime95 and check if its stable also dont forget to report back !

Seeing a regular bios screen makes me appreciate my uefi bios even more. Generally you don't want to increase voltage but use the lowest that's stable to keep the heat down. I wouldn't go past 1.45 myself and even that is pushing it.

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2189145 heres my cpuz click on link

the Rated FSB on the cpuz : is the HT LINK.

i wish you had a amd crosshair IV extreme board so i can see how to up my cpu offset voltages...
my cpu idles at 1.428
with load its at 1.440
i just found out how to see my cpu voltage by setting the offset to manual.
i will keep it where its at.
id like to see just a little higher cpu and NB voltage with the offset but dont know how to up my cpu/nb offset
dont forget im running very cool @ -40c
thanks for the help guys

I can help you, I have owned all the crosshair line and still have the CIVE and CVF but first what cooling are you using? I see a single stage in you sig but I would like to know if that is what you are using and what the evap temp is idle and load. 1.6v on the cpu core is typically good for 5GHz - 5.5GHz on cold with a good chip. Key voltage settings to set and change are:

Extreme OV Disabled
CPU & NB Voltage Mode Manual
CPU Voltage 1.45
CPU/NB Voltage 1.3
CPU VDDA Auto
DRAM Voltage 1.65000
HT Voltage 1.28750
NB 1.8 Voltage 1.20000
SB 1.1 Auto

with cpu voltage increasing as you scale clocks.

Here's one of my basic bios settings for a mild OC using H50 at the time.
Code:
Extreme Tweaker

Target CPU Frequency 4013Mhz

ok you replied while i was making long post smile.gif What bios you on? Go 1.6v and slowly clock upwards. Should be ok til 5GHz or 5.2GHz. 1.65v would be the most i'd do at that temp 24/7.
