What games to you recommend? - Page 2

Heaps of people still play CS:S. I don't know about other countries but Australia has a lot of servers up, mods and vanilla.

Its still extremely addicting, I play it more than any other game atm, just gotta love some CS:S tongue.gif

Edit: I really recommend Witcher 1 & 2, they are amazing games to play through if you like RPGs and have some of the best writing I've ever seen in a game.

I was considering MW3 but it would be a waste of space on my 128GB SSD because I will have BF3.
Also my main question is what CS should I get and which one is more popular/played?
Thanks everyone.

It's really preference for CS games I'm a fan of CSS alot of people wont leave 1.6 but CS:GO is sapose to be more similar to CS 1.6. you asked which is faster paced I'm not sure but I do know that CSS is fast paced though and if you play a gungame match those are extremely fast paced. Which ever you choose you can always wait for the other to go on sale and try the other later. Also let me add a game to the list.

Crysis 1

buy the disk though, not steam. I think with steam you don't get sandbox editor which for me was extremely fun.

I was surprised by how much RAGE sucked me in. You've got to change the config to unlock high-res textures to get the graphics to full potential, but that's easy.

Dead Island was another that was more fun than I thought if you have friends with the game.

My 13-year old plays stupid amounts of Minecraft. Looks boring as hell to me, but he and his friends have fun for hours.

Have you played the FEAR series? Farcry?

I haven't played the FEAR series.

I think Minecraft is really good too (I have played it).

The thing is I don't want to many games that I won't play them. I like games that have very good REPLAY VALUE so I don't just finish a game and say "well thats that." That is why I want to get online games like BF3 and CS:S. Also Skyrim is good because you get to dictate what you do (and its a free roam game).

I think that the GTA series brings hours of free roaming and fun too (I am just going to wait for GTA V to release).

Thanks!

The original Farcry has about the best replay value of any game I've ever played. And it still looks good. Very very open-world, non-linear. You can play through levels using many different approaches. Run and gun, sneak and snipe, sneak and avoid etc etc.

Its funny because I used to own Far Cry and found it very fun. I heard the new one is coming out this year and I might get it depending on what its going to be like.

I was thinking of Assassins Creed Revelations (do you think I should get it)?

Mass Effect 3 might be fun although I have never really played the original or the second one.

The game I am looking forwards to the most is GTA V (can't wait).

So any other MAJOR upcoming/recently released games you might recommend?
