Thread Starter
I was wondering if this receiver only allows for clamping down the wires for the speakers or can i use banana plugs to go into the receiver? http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-HT-RC360-7-2-Channel-Network-Receiver/dp/B004UR487U/ref=sr_1_18?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1326030036&sr=1-18 This ling has a picture of the back of the receiver. I am going to get this one or this one http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-NR609-Channel-Certified-Receiver/dp/B004O0TRD8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1326072948&sr=1-1 which has banana plug inserts on the back of the reciver and THX certified but for about 50 to 60 dollars more.

Other than zone 2 for spring terminals, all the others look like 5-way binding posts to me.

Both receivers have binding posts for the main speakers. The price difference between the NR609 and the RC360 comes from the THX cert. of the NR609. However, the NR609 has Audyssey MultiEQ XT, which is better than the RC360's Audysy 2EQ. MultiEQ XT has a separate filter for the subwoofer. I'd say they're pretty much identical besides the THX cert. and Audyssey MultiEQ XT / 2EQ.
