I run both my reference 6950 2GBs and my 955 at 4Ghz, on my TX650. My kill a watt hasnt gone over 500 watts, even during heavy gaming or 3dmark. 1200 is probly 250-300 more watts than you need, even when everything is overclocked. Remember that some games dont even support crossfire (for example GTA4), but in other games such as metro 2033 and BF3 I think you should see good scaling (if your CPU can keep up). 2600K @ 5.0GHz @ 1.46V . mive p67 . (2) 1.65V Memory . 1 6970 @ 950MHz . 2 6950 @ 900mhz . 1 HDD . 2 ssd . (10) ~5W Fans . 2 xspc pumps . XFX 1050W @ 90% Eff.
Max Values:
Idle: 251 Watts -> 90% = 225.9W
Prime95 Only : 406 Watts. -> 90% = 365.4W
Furmark Only : 899 Watts. -> 90% = 809.1W
Prime95 and Furmark : 1025 Watts. -> 90% = 922.5W
Game (BF3) : 691 Watts. -> 90% = 621.9W
Bench (3dm11) : 679 Watts. -> 90% = 611.1W

I'm sorry, I have a 6850 as a backup card and I always get mixed up with these codes. For my main ill be getting a 6950***** and want to know if it is worth it to go with 3 over 2

yea, thats my mistake, i made this thread at school, and i have been looking at it from here. the wifi is garbage and drops all the time, and was giving me errors saying that my post never sent. i guess it did. 3 times. sorry about that guys

3 way Cf would not be a problem go on but pls stay away from XFX cards they tend to run more hot and the RMA is dam pissing
