preferably 5ms is what common manufacturers use..2ms is just BS..your eyes won't even tell the difference..the Input Lag would be an important thing to consider rather than response time..

i tried both 60 hz and 120 hz believe me my eye couldn't see any difference they lenses cant read more than 60 FPS and second he just need to turn V-Sync on lastly i was saying the same words about ips or 120 hz believe me i tend to stick with ips for the rest of my life this colors are so alive

Was it a real 120Hz monitor? Because I can, and two other people I know.
And yes, IPS looks good too.

But really man, its personal preference. See if you can find anyone near you who owns one of each or something to view. Frys usually has some Apple stuff running on an expensive IPS Apple Cinema display.
