bad super pi score

i was woundering for those who have the pentium d 805 or know much about it i am having a break down becouse my friend has the amd 64 3500 venice core and its oced to nothing and he gets a 39sec super pi ( dont say its my singlechanel or my ddr becouse i have seen better scores with wors) am at 3.9 and am getting 40 sec is this normal for the 805 cuz of its low fsb or am i doing somthing wrong

Your motherboard brand might explain it all

I am guessing that it might have to do with the combination of that CPU and DDR RAM, which I don't think is the best.... not sure,.... let me check if I can find some times from other users.

Here is one a little faster than yours, but the CPU clocked lower:

High fsb+tight memory timmings will produces the best times with superpi.

the memory is probably holding you back, as everyone said...
my superpi score or 31 seconds was using the sse3 patch and at 4ghz

my RAM is running single channel DDR2 720. It is probably your motherboard, or maybe you have a divider on your RAM that is throwing things off.

can you use ddr2 with 478? lol.

Memory is usually the biggest factor in super pi.
