The only difference is the packaging transparent closure labels.

In retail stores, you can tell the difference between the older and newer versions by the package's transparent closure labels; G400s without angle snapping have the Logitech logo printed on these labels. G400s with angle snapping have no printing on these labels.

Great to see Logitech improved this mouse significantly. Now all that's left is to make a similar fingertip grip mouse... and maybe start making mechanical keyboards. tongue.gif

I'm glad Logitech takes the criticism seriously. Excellent news for this mouse.

So, just bought this mouse in a retail store, Overall, ok mouse. however, .. Both mouse buttons is insanely annoying as it is howering above the switch, so when resting your hand on the mouse, youll keep getting the sound as to when you press the plastic together, resulting in a dull but very audiable well.. thunk?

Anyone else have this bug? Im already considering going back to my broken IME 3.0 =\

Its like.. they didnt screw it together properly, leaving a gap between the switch and the right and left click buttons

I have not experienced any problems with my G400 buttons. The middle wheel is a little hard to click just like with the 518 but I've not once clicked something by accident with m1/2.

I can create a sound without clicking with the m1 button but not with the m2 button. It's the same for my old 518. The m2 feels completely solid while m1 seems a tiny bit loose.

I have it on both buttons, sound like this http://vocaroo.com/?media=vWQDUSGe82fKllcg3

edit here; seriously considering opening the son of a razer up, and putting some tape between the contact from the button and the microswitch .. and sanding down THE LIP
