G400 angle snapping removed. - Page 22

Regular shop, Komputronik in Kielce. I haven't even opened the box to check pid. Logitech logo was on protecting tapes so I knew it was prediction free version smile.gif

We should start some campaign for Logitech so people will stop ignoring G400 in gaming community. It is truely superb product. At the same time if you look for advice people will tell you to buy some overpriced and overhyped product with bugs.

It's like this when Logitech Gaming Software is uninstalled:

Small differences are visible, I think the cause is default 1000Hz polling rate without LGS.
400 / 800 / 1800 / 3600 CPI @ 1000Hz
344

I was trying to draw perfectly flat line fast.
400 CPI @ 1000Hz
265

I use LGS because in my opinion 1000Hz is overkill when gaming (I prefer 500 or even 250Hz) and 125Hz is enough for everything else. 1000Hz does cause quite high processor use on my computer when mousing. I think it may actually lower my machine performance especially in new high demanding games. LGS isn't driver, it's not working when turned off, except polling rate stays where you set it (until logout).

If you really don't want LGS running and 1000Hz bother you, it's possible to kill LGS after login and polling rate will be remembered. You can set scheduler task for it or use simple script in autostart.

thanks. really appreciate it. 1000hz is fine for me and looks like the tracking is great at 400 and 800 dpis.

I got a g400 coming in the mail right now. I've been struggling to use the DeathAdder for about 4 days now, and there's just no way around it, my hand just keeps cramping up. I used to have a G7 many many years ago which I gave away for some reason... but I still remember it feeling extremely comfortable. From what I understand the G400 has the same casing (or very similar).

I learned my lesson about Razer now, first the copperhead which I gave away, now the deathadder. To each his own though, everyone's hands are different smile.gif. Not to say the DeathAdder's tracking is not good, in fact it's amazing. I've been owning it up with the scout on CSS since I've gotten it, headshots left and right biggrin.gif. I just wish it was more comfortable (I have fairly large hands and long fingers, so that may be the issue too).

Anyways, I ordered the g400 from amazon, so hopefully I get the new version without angle snapping. Can't wait!

Let us know if in fact Amazon's carrying prediction free stock now. Thanks!

i bought a logitech g400 (pid: lz13323) but with logitech stickers on the box. I'm not really sure about existing "Angle Snapping".
What do you think?

I'd say there's no angle snapping.
