ripjawsX have an advantage for use in intel systems allowing for use of XMP profiles and theres something else too i just cant recall, neither here or there your RAM is good smile.gif
as to your mobo asrock fatal1ty z68 aslong its the professional gen 3 will be best dropping in an IB.. even cheaper Asrock z68 extreme4 gen 3 will do the job for you. i guess it will come down to prices and features.
also have a look at the Asus p8z68-v Gen3, Asus p8z68-v pro Gen3 or a great Asus board about the same price as the fatal1ty is the Asus p8z68-v deluxe Gen3.

if you have the patientce you could wait for IB to be realeased and get
3570K and a good z77 board is a good option

the HD 7970 well its one sick card but im not sure when prices will drop smile.gif

Yeah its what alot of peeps been saying in place of the fatal1ty. Tho i guess I lean towards the Asrock extreme4 as its got a better colour scheme than the Asus blue, but Asus has the better warranty. I'll have to make that decision later if im unable to find a z68 fatal1ty.

I hope prices drop when the 7950s drop on to the market.

Thats actually good to know, I read that they're pretty good, but Harocp forums are pretty much boycotting Asrock, their reviews slam them and you get responses with disgust on their forums, haha.

Yeh i'm actually hoping Scan gets it back in stock, since if i do buy from amazon i'll have to deal with Asrock (which i dont mind) but will take longer to resolve than with Scan as they deal with the warranty.

I noticed the asrock hate there too, so I'm boycotting [H] now biggrin.gif They're being childish but hey, nothing we can do about fanboys rolleyes.gif
Let them have their opinions, [sarcasm] I'm sure that they have very good reasons to boycott asrock [/sarcasm]
