Its normally close to the crystal.
Here is what one looks like from a google image search.

205

Write down the codes on the top of it then select the matching one in clockgen.

You will need to look for it on your motherboard.
An other method is to just try them 1 by one then click the read clock and see if it pulls the correct information but I dont recommend that unless your out of options.

i found it guys..Winbond W83697HF i guess its not supported, so i guess i cant overclock this old chip on this mobo frown.gif, unless theres different software, hmm maybe if i can find Nvidia Ntune 1.0 again..
Just looked up the specs on that and it doesn't support changing the FSB so your out of luck.
The only other way to overclock it is to do it via the hardware which involves soldering.
But thats really not worth it with those parts.

Does you bios have a setting to change the ram speed.
EG 100,133,140.
Setting it higher will give you a bit more memory speed which would help a server, if you can get it stable.

yeah i think only 100/133 and its on 133 ill check in the am, soo that sucks that i cant get an extra 200mhz out of it frown.gif, and im also not able to OC my 1090t at stock 3.2 it runes around 35-38c and on 2min of prime95 blend test it ran up to 60 so i stopped it frown.gif

I had a 1.3 Morgan and used it in a secondary machine for years. These chips were very poor overclockers and had a reputation for running hot. The one I had would go no higher than 1404 MHz (108*13), and would heat up a room--literally--if you left it running overnight. That thing made a P4 Prescott look like a power-efficient chip. I might actually still have that Morgan somewhere, but I took it out of service for good around 2006.

The later Duron Applebred was a different story. I bought one of those a few years after the Morgan, unlocked its multiplier and L2 cache, and overclocked it from 1.6 GHz to 2.25 GHz. That was one heck of a $42 CPU for its day. There was also the time when Newegg dumped AMD's last run of Palomino XP's on the market right before the T-breds arrived. I took a chance on one of them, a 1600+ (1.4 GHz), and managed to hit 1.81 on it. I still remember fiddling with the chip skew setting in the BIOS to make it work. Turned out most of those last Pallys would reach 1.7 or 1.8 if you knew the right settings, plus they were cheap.

Hard to believe that was almost 10 years ago...

i looked around for software overclocking tools to do it from windows and cant find any.. i tried ntune but the lastest version doesnt work, by looking around i need Nvidia Ntune 1.0 not the new one i think' any ideas thx.. ill be back in a bit
Guess I should have mentioned this before. You need a good NF2 ultra chipset mobo for OCing. VIAs OC like crap on socket A. The Abit NF7-S is one of the best, along the DFI Ultra B.
