I don't get what your saying I have my ipod charging in my car while playing music thru the mini jack to the receiver all the time with no noise at all. Maybe your cable effed or your connection isn't solid.
What kind of car?
So far in the 7 cars I have owned, when using the 12 V cigarette jack with a USB charge cord to my iPod or smart phone, I get feed back when using the 3.5 mm connection to my stereo.
I've tried a few different 12 V > USB adapters each with the same result.
Maybe you found one that has built in noise isolators, how do you have your iPod plugged in for charging?
