OP : Did you get the Black version or the White ? No racism, I bought the White version and it's AWESOME.
Black is to me the old looking beige style computer case, white is more shiny wink.gif

I got the black version. White doesn't look as nice with my other components, especially since everything on my computer is black including my mouse and monitors. My mouse glows blue (Razer DeathAdder) and I believe that the 500R also comes with blue LEDs? (Or am I mistaken with that?)

Either way, the blue USB 3 ports will look nice too. ;D

I've got plenty of black components too and without a doubt it looks amazing.
In both case, it's the same case, just a color preference.

I like the white outish and the black interior. I leave my case open because it's sexy haha biggrin.gif

EDIT : 3 in a row : It comes with White LED.

The only thing I didn't like about the 500r it the custom from panel fan connector.
You cannot plug any fans on it unless it's corsair branded.

I broke the splitter so I have to connect the side fans on 4pins or onboard 3 pins frown.gif

Ah, that's good to know.
I will probably keep my side panel connected, to provide extra air flow with the 200mm fan and also keep as much dust out of the case as possible. As nice as it must be to look at the cable management inside, I'm finding that my case being opened up and running all the time is a bit of a hazard to any dust particles. (Dust being the silent killer for computers)

I wouldn't exactly say it keeps the dust out, there is no dust filter on the side panel but since the stock fan is rather poor it's not much of a problem.

Oh, that's interesting- For some reason I just assumed all of the fans would have a filters. So the 200mm fan is the only fan without a filter then?
Has anybody had any success with attaching a fan filter to the side panel of a 500R?

Dust and heat are indeed computer killers but as long as you clean it every 3 months you shouldn't worry about it.
For now my case is open because of the adapter that I broke, but I'll install the fan on the side this week it should help with the first GPU reaching 68-72*C in games.

I got to agree that the cable management is near perfection. I would have liked a little more space in the back panel to store all the extra cables of my non modular PSU, but it does fit, just very tight. One last thing is that the motherboard tray isn't removable but at least they did cut a big hole in the back in case you want to swap your CPU cooler without removing the whole motherboard(Thus having to remove GPU's, PSU connectors and unscrew/remove your motherboard).

EDIT: For a fan filter, I used my mother's pantyhose biggrin.gif Works like a charm, just had to scotch tape ghetto rig it haha
