ive paid like 50$ extra for harddrive before.. lol

I understand, encouraging local business is fun.
Your card is worth $60-70 depending on the shipping online.
It is decent at best, you will be able to play game with it but do not expect to run anything on high except for farmville.

Don't worry about whatever it is that person said. It's DDR3, and your card appears to be perfectly normal for a GT520. thumb.gif

The normal memory clock is 1000Mhz (500Mhz X 2) so yeah, 535Mhz give you a double data rate of 1070Mhz effective memory clock.

535 is the Memory rate.
It's some DDR so your memory is in fact overclocked from 1000mhz to 1070mhz.(535x2)

BTW you could have 9812938 Gb on this card it wouldn't change anything.
If you paid over $60 for your card, you got yourself a real Nvidia Card with a real poor guy price.
If you bought this card in a best buy, give us the price and we'll tell you if you want to return it or not.

haha, i used 9800gtx+ for a long time and just upgraded recently. and i could play all games on moderatly high settings.. unless you go multi monitors or need the ultra-mega-sick settings in graphics it should play games fine thumb.gif

your card is fine, double data rate (DDR) means you 2x the speed most programs show you for your real speed.

Now if the box says its a Nvidea instead of Nvidia that might mean something tongue.gif (as in you can't spell/read/type, or it is indeed fake lol)

take a look at my screen shot, it shows my ram is running at 1025, but is really 2050mhz ram.
