[Re-Build Log] "Tubig" - TH10, RIVE, 4960X, 780x3, LSI 9260-8i, 1.5TB SSDs

Thread Starter
(Tubig - pronounced Too Big, is Tagalog (Filipino) for water)

History:
- long time water cooler / overclocker from the Intel P4 Northwood days
- my current machine is ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, i7 920 @ 4.0 Ghz, 12GB, 590 GTX, Cosmos S, water cooled with stuff dating back to 2004
- I have 10+ years in the industry, so much of the below list of product leverages the relationships I have been able to forge with vendors and resellers in Canada. (Compaq, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo)

Goal:
- dream build for me, long term use for both gaming and my side photography/videography hobby/business
- function over form
- form still important
- not into LEDs or UV, but into clean lines and efficiency
- re-use as much as I can, recycle, hand down to others
- try and leverage Canadian retailers and suppliers when possible

this was before Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
This is my first build log, so pardon the format.

I am stuck now with the release of the AMD 7970. I do like the idea of running 7970 in crossfire under water, but this would require me to resell the current 590.

I currently am using an air cooled GTX 590 and the above plan has me ordering another 590 and watercooling them both.

....stuck....
Looks like this will be a clean build thumb.gif. I'd stick with the 590s personally. I have tons of 590 ek blocks if you need some still, just pm me for details smile.gif.

I appreciate that! but lot's of wiring...no sexy fans like the triebwerks! Your hardware looks fantastic! I'm excited to see how that 370 does...I'm still considering it!
