Where to find a long crossfire bridge.

I just got my two Sapphire 6950's yesterday but both of them didn't come with a crossfire bridge.. My Asus P8p67 WS Revolution didn't come with one either.. It just came with a dual and tri SLI bridge.. So I ordered this XFX Crossfire bridge off of newegg and paid for one day shipping to get it here as fast as I can but I am getting kinda worried because from the look of it, its small. It seems like I'm going to have to have both 6950's stack on top of each other. I ordered the Revolution to replace my Gene-z to have the ability to have both cards spread out from one another, but having a small bridge defeats the purpose of that. So, I'm wondering, where can I find a long crossfire bridge?

You shouldn't have an issue.. my card is spaced one and the bridge is actually a bit long so it bunches up.

Googled your mobo, you should be perfectly fine in the 3rd slot, probably the 4th if you so choose.

Most new CF bridges are a bit longer to accommodate this, but that one on egg looks like an older short one frown.gif

There's a gap on either side of the logo on the longer ones.

The one off of newegg looks to be about the same size as the small SLI bridge that came with my motherboard. When I line it up it doesn't reach the third full 16/8x lane. It only reaches to the small 1x lane.

I just found this Asus one off of Asus estore. It's 8.5cm and it has the gaps on both sides. That one should work with my 6950's right?

That bridge you ordered should be enough for both cards on your board. My board has a bigger gap between PCIe slots, but the short bridge is fine, if taut.

I ordered the Asus one to be safe. The XFX should be here tomorrow and the Asus one Thursday/Friday. If XFX one fits I'll return the Asus one and viceversa.
