Hello, One of my friend is asking if i5 2500k Will Have less performance in h61 than having z68 motherboard,How much performance is missing?Or Does he have to sell 2500k and get 2300 with h61? He also has a 560GTX-TI From Zotac and 1600Mhz memories ,Thank you

He shouldn't, running the cpu at stock on both motherboards will be the same, P67 will allow you to overclock the chip. If he want to change anything, I would recommend the Motherboard not the chip smile.gif

he wont be able to take advantage of the unlocked multiplier that the 2500k has to offer for overclocking.

Asrock extreme 3 / gen 3 is a great board for 120 bucks from newegg.com
