Feel free after this to call me a dummy LOL

Was reading all about 1 GB cards vs 2 and 3 GB cards and how resolution relates.

Went into all my games resetting resolution from 1900x1200 to 1900x1080

Well results were sonic.gif

LOL live and learn even if it does take an old codger a while for the information to sink in redface.gif

So, you lowered your resolutions to 1900x 1080 and everything ran faster?

Hmmm... I might need to check mine too. I usually run at default.

Us old codgers need to stick together methinks smile.gif

thehunter went from 67 fps to 130 fps

I now can run BF3 with some ultra options in the 60's biggrin.gif

My monitor does not support 1920x1080 as a setting so thehunter has the border at the top and bottom frown.gif

Do you have the option to run the game in a window mode?

10% fewer pixels result in basically double performance?
What happens if you run 1920x1200 with lower texture quality or AF?
