Upgrading Imac G4 OS?

Thread Starter
I have a Imac G4 with 800mhz CPU 256mb ram and 80gb HD. Its out of date, I cant use youtube, or the latest versions of any web browser. What would be the highest version of mac os X i could use with out seeing any major performance issues. Its using mac os x10.2 at the moment.

I personally would use mint fedora because its light on the system it requires very little power to run so it's ideal on old machines.

plus there is a fair bit of support out there for it,

Yea I know that mr supertard

Very simple he wants a os that can watch videos and light stuff so why mess about with a heavy operating system like Mac os which will cost him money when he can get something not too disimular and runs a little better.?
