You said in the OP that you didnt need a monitor, but do you have 3 high res monitors for surround? I could not find U3011 on PCCG, but I found these samsung ones. If you are not Xfireing or Trifiring with that budget, I dont know what is going through your mind.

The Rasa kit is very good for starting with WCing too. Make sure you get a PT nuke, kill coil and some distilled water for the loop, if you decide against getting the Samsung monitors, you can add your 2 GPUS and another Rad to the loop as well.

The PSU should be good enough for you to Trifire 7970s I do not know about quad-fire, but you would need a different mobo for that and I do not know the power consumption of the cards.

- Cut budget in half
- Get Intel 2500k build
- Profit

Why?

- AMD processor? Haha, don't kid yourself.
- You don't need Hyper-Threading.
- Games and movies can be easily maxed as compared to real-world stuff such as photo/video editting.
- Get Nvidia graphics. More expensive but more reliable in terms of drivers and lifespan.
- 2500k has more processing power than practically 99% of the AMD processors.
- You are not on a tight budget. There's no reason for you to be buying budget equipment.

OK OK I have done some research and Intel wins with the majority of ppl commenting with their opinions and reviews on you tube benching and comparing to other CPU's.

ATM I have a 24 inch acer g245h, Err yea not sure If I want to surround or not because I want to place the tower on my table which I have very limited space which will make crossfire overkill I think.
But here's the thing when I move out I may want to decide and get the surround you guys are suggesting.

In my head I COULD just get a single 7970.

Also what is your opinion between 3960X and 3930k. Yes the 3960X is double the price but would it be worth buying?

The purpose of this comp is for maxed out gaming, photo editing and possible some video editing,.
With this build I'm hoping for it to last me a while.

Also I do not need to hit 6000. but if it goes around 6000 I would not mind

I will Upload some photos of my table tomorrow.

The X model just gives you some extra cache I think 2Mb which is not worth it. Just get the K verson spend money on good watercooling parts and OC that thing. 6 cores and 12 threads of editing goodness will be at your disposal. As well as when games move to more cores.

Hmm thanks for the explanation smile.gif I'll probably imply the glow crap in the WC or get a blue neon light and mod my case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSyhwEHfjMU&feature=related

That's a waste of money.

$1600, is able to play BF3 max all the time.

Watching HD movie can be done on laptop. You know what I mean.
