And is that Thermalright AXP-140RT a leading CPU cooler in the rankings?
And, I'm starting to get annoyed by my 2-choice-only selection of Z68, S1155 mITX motherboards. What about P67 boards? I guess there aren't any P67s. What about H67 or Q67 boards?
Thanks and reps!!
Too big, na mean? No reps!

the overclocking limitation of ITX is not because of the case or cooling. it's the boards that are currently on the market. IMO the SG07 has better cooling solution then the tank... it's hard to compete with a filtered 180mm intake on the SG07... the AP181 rated at 130CFM and it blows directly down onto the cpu/mobo/vid card.

Yeah, stock it is outfitted at stock better. I plan on messing around with water cooling, probably cutting a new fan intake or 2..

But yeah, the ITX boards will obviously just be less capable at OCing than mATX/ATX by definition.

zotac z68 ITX board is overclocking pretty well for me. It has a 8 phases so I guess its similar in that regard to some good matx boards.

Anyways, overclocking 2500k to 4.5 and 4.7 no prob.

here is a build log you should take a look at. the difference is you will be using a z68 board and a 7970. don't worry the parts will still fit into the case.

Damn, the AXP-120 just barely fits in that bich. But looks good in that SG07. If I am not satisfied with my Cubitek, I will move on up to that. Thanks and rep +!

you want the XAE board d3daim. The other comes with weak integrated gpu that should only be used for htpc i guess.

You must also take into account that this is a zotac board. The BIOS when it first came out were pretty bad I hear. I just bought mine recently and they have stepped it up quite a bit as you will read in some reviews. Some people really hate intel speed step tech. If you are one of those people you may want to reconsider ITX, at least until zotac updates bios again.

I think a lot of people are waiting for asus and gigabyte to release an ITX board. I personally have had bad luck with these more popular companies so I could care less...I mean in the end foxconn makes half of anyones parts anyways right? lol thats not totally true btw. HTH
