Best card to Crossfire with? (bang for buck)

Thread Starter
I am wondering which cards are the best for Crossfire with?

Right now I'm considering two 6950, but I'd like to hear some other peoples input on this.
I'd like to get the most out of my money tongue.gif (surprise)

Thanks in Advance!

5850 are still pretty good and cheap.( I have my 5850 xtreme at 900/1200 at 1.31v , stock 5870 is 1.25v)
They oc pretty well to stock 5870 speeds + more.

Bang for buck? 2nd hand 5850 CFX.

Something better? 6950 CFX or 6970 CFX.

Go insane? 6990 Quad CFX or 7970 CFX.

6950 XFIRE IMO

best bang for you buck is picking up 2x 5850's for 150 each. 300 bucks and you get crazy performance not as good as my gtx470's but still fast.
I got one of my cards for 180 and the other for 230, so $410 for gtx590 performance is pretty good.

Should be able to find 2 gtx470's for around 180 each if needed. $360 for killer performance, but with a lot of heat and noise. Just get 2 water blocks and enjoy the quite biggrin.gif

Thanks for all th great e input, I don't exactly have a budget but ~$200 would be max.

I've started looking at 6450, how would a pair of those do?

a single 5850 would beat that. dont CF anything less then a 4870/5770/gtx260/gts450
anything less then that and a single card just is better for the money
