Can console players even voice communicate while playing BF3?
A mouse pad bigger then your console, with a weighted gaming mouse able to switch sensitivity on the go.
Battlelog is amazing.
Once you figure out and fix crashing, and freezes. It's smooth sailing.
More people hack on consoles than you think.
Over 24 man servers, list goes on and on. You would be crazy to think you actually play BF3 on consoles.

I play BF3 on PS3 and yes, you can voice communicate with other people on your team. However, not that many people do all the time. Console has been convienient as I've been putting together my main desktop computer (which isn't finished). I did play BFBC2 on PC and noticed a lot of hackers, but isn't that with everything? If someone wants to hack they will find a way to do it. It doesn't matter if it's PS3, PC or whatever game you pick.

Now this is just my opinion:
PC it's easier to hack and it's also a lot easier to voice your frustrations on people who are hacking. On a console if you get killed by the same person a bunch of times or think a shot was not possible you just suck it up and keep playing or you leave. That's why I honestly like playing BF3 on a console. Never once when I'm #1 on the scoreboard three times in a row do a bunch of people just start saying "HACKER!!!" it's so childish and annoying. Yes, people hack; there will always be people who want an unfair advantage. However, so many times people get upset over a game when they get killed or something. My brother has BF3 on PC (he kind of sucks), but he was able to knife a guy and he was called a hacker. That's the kind of BS that frustrates me. When you're in a game, sometimes it's very difficult to tell the difference between a stealthed hacker and a skilled player. In the end, i jumped ship from the pc scene for this very reason. It's easier to just call someone out as a hacker and I'm done with that.

For those of you on here who may be legitemate, highly skilled players, it's a little easier telling the difference between the hackers and the skilled players. But for anyone (this has already been said in another post), sometimes there are hackers who aren't obvious and that creates a problem. For some (like me), the game loses its fun value because the line between a hacker and skilled player have been blurred and so everyone just gets accused. Maybe I've just had a bad experience, but overall it's just sad...

Dont get me wrong, BF3 on PC looks FANTASTIC, but for me gaming is about having fun. So for me, I don't get nearly as frustrated and I have a lot more fun just playing it on my console. It's a sacrifice that makes playing more enjoyable. thumb.gif

Reporting cheaters? Everyone has been doing that and it does nothing.

All they're doing is trying to douse the flames of the recent hacker cries of the community.

1.  That's what nearly all companies do.  Including Valve.

2.  True.

3.  Not true, this is a prime example of such.  Did you read the article?

4.  And that is a good thing.

So why post?

Who are these people that insist it is the other way around, or equal?

Because most console gamers idea of a pc is a run of the mill laptop. They just haven't seen what pcs like ocn members game on have smile.gif

I doubt this will help any. This is one of the reasons I havent even played the back to karkand dlc yet even though I have the LE. Not worth my time.

Well i think DICE is being serious after someone posting a cheating video of them stalking every dev's dogtag by using hacks. Must have embarassed them outright. I think we're better off having a BETTER anti-cheat third party software instead of Punkbuster. We need something that someone can't crack the code and be stuck. They need to hire better encrypters or something like that. I honestly think cheating is just gonna kill FPS gaming but more mainly we need some sort of vote system added in the game. I mean look at other games where you can really have more power cuz of admin tools. Such tools were actually modded and developed by a modder so they can prevent cheaters. I remember Crysis 1 mp had a third party software to catch cheaters and they never used punkbuster and damn it worked really good.

Lol this is truly funny as this was exactly how EA acted when Crysis 2 got overran. Expect nothing to be done kiddies, they have your money already.

So odds are? they're going as fast as possible with it.

Thats why the pay to hack sites have a unique compiled hack for each one of there customers so if EA/PB/Dice does download it and add its signature to PB none of the other customers get banned.

Speculation when you admit to cheating in public. At least you have stopped.

YESSSSS I just witnessed this little PRICK'S stats get wiped! He had over a 70.0 KDR and he was #1 in skill level with like 45,000 skill or something ridiculous like that.

Just reported one more that I came across, a few of you should report him as well. Actually, if you go to the global leaderboard, you guys should report like the top 20 in skill level that are there... they're all rank ~50 with like 2 hours of gameplay and a riduclous SPM. Pretty obvious that they're cheating or stat boosting, both of which deserve a stat wipe or ban.

Rank 50 in 2 hours of gameplay.

Wonder why they're whiping stats instead of bans.
