Accessing an external HHD connected to a router over the Web.

Thread Starter
I just got a Netgear N600 and it has a USB port connection for a HDD. I know I can use it over LAN, but is there a way I can access it over the Web. Any easy to use programs for this. My wife is going home to Vietnam, and I would like for her to be able to access it from there by signing in from her phone. It is the WNDR3700 model.

you could try forwarding whatever port the HDD uses to its ip address in your router. Then whenver you connect from the outside ou will be routed through to the right place
