UV Cathodes

Thread Starter
I'm thinking about getting a UV cathode kit for my white 600T but I haven't a slightest idea of how they work..

Can anybody recommend me a kit or a particular one? How's the installation?

I found this particular one from Xoxide..

EDIT: Also found this one too. http://www.xoxide.com/flexiglow-pcxtremeneon-standardkitultraviolet.html

Pretty easy install, really. Just place the lights where you want them and then hide the little power box, tipically in an empty drive bay or behind the psu if it will fit. Cathodes just connect to a molex cable for power and usually have a power switch that goes to an expansion slot on the back of the case. I have several of these from newegg that all work great.

I recommend looking into the LED light strips... I have heard great things about them and that is what I plan to put in my PC when I get the spare cash.

I think the inverterless uv look impressive and I wonder if that is now the route I should go (though not cheap):

depends on on the style of lighting you'r looking for, i personnally prefer led, but for uv lighting there is no choice but to go with cold cathode.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14102/lit-288/Phobya_LED_Flex_Light_36_Count_SMD_LED_Light_Strip_-_30cm_-_UV_83126.html?tl=c77s126b189#blank
