better if you do 1:1 so stock speed is 266fsb, your ram should be 533. And 400FSB should be 800Mhz DDR2

EPP......eeewwww!!!!

I used to have the same models and they wouldn't run pass 450mhz but maybe you got a good pair that will overclock better than mine did.

Anyhow, the timings are way off on that thing, you should change them to 4-4-4-12 in the BIOS and if you want to run them higher than 333mhz, you should try a 2:3 ratio, in the BIOS you can change the speed of the RAM and the higher you go, so does the ratio.

but I'd say start overclocking the CPU so that it can take the memory higher.

Although if you don't overclock your E6600, then run a 1:1 ratio and use a 3-3-3-8 for memory and 2.1v or 2.2v, that should give you a 266fsb:266mhz but lower and better latencies.

I just entered bios , im not very familiar with this bios ... used to old school one ... i made the ram DDR2 800mhz Memmory frquency changed to 400mhz in cpuz, FSB : Dram 2:3, 5-5-5-18 ... I DONT LIKE THAT this is expensive memory i think it can do better what do u think ? and please tell me how to change the timing .. should i change to voltage and to what ? i dont have any experience with ram overclocking

Nasgul said he had the same ram, it didn't do so well compare to the GSKILL HZ. Not all expensive things are consider better. Intel E6300 is $185 compare to FX62 $1000+. Now which is better?

Disable SPD and change your timming

Go to DRAM frequency and set it to what ever your FSB is and double it. For example 300FSB, set it to 600DDR

Mikey is correct dont add a multi to your ram...it will run better 1:1.
I would set your FSB: 400
CPU multi: x9
And to set your dRam freq to 1:1 by setting it to 800mhz in dram drop down.
SPD : Disable
Timing 4/4/4/12
vDimm 2.1 volts
vMCH 1.65
FSB Termination: 1.50
VCore: What ever you need to hit 400x9 = 3.6ghz

Then check your TAT readings and make sure your below 70c..the tcase max I believe is 80c so 70c although seemingly high is probably ok. Thumper dont jump me for that statement

Oh and post your new SuperPi youll be pretty happy
