Appreicate your posting your experience with EVGA but your opinion on Nvidia is highly inaccurate as they compete with AMD just on par and in some cases BETTER than AMD vice versa.

Grunion bought two GTX 480's SLI iirc. Maybe that scarred him for life. tongue.gif

Matt originally told me I would receive a check. 2 weeks ago he sent me an email letting me know they would have newegg credit my card...who didn't have a valid one on file. I let him know this 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard or received anything. Without a doubt, worst RMA experience ever, lol!

I don't care if you've had a good experience or not. Do you really wanna continue supporting a company that has shafted a fellow OCner for nearly 1/2 a year?

Well, the only one RMA experience with EVGA doesn't look good(It's still in progress).
I've chosen EAR so it whole thing would go faster, but it took 2 days just to approve it and they've wasted one week just for it to ship.

The only reason I went with the EVGA in the first place is that I've read a lot about their awesome customer support, now I'm not so sure.

Stuff that I bought over the years from other vendors at least worked right out of the box, haven't had to RMA anything.

I have confirmed with Newegg that your refund was processed in mid January to the credit card you had used to purchase the graphics card. I would recommend that you contact the bank that issued the card regarding the refund. If you should need more information about the refund please contact Newegg directly. I do apologize once again for the issues you are having in this matter, if you need any additional support from us please let me know: Matth@evga.com

I've heard of other OCN members having issues with RMA's with all other vendors as well. Dosent mean I'm going to stop buying GPU's all together. tongue.gif

EVGA's track record is the best out of all of them still. Wonder why your post didn't bring more "I had RMA issues too" from other members responses?

XFX has the worst record out of any vendors, yet there are still OCN members buying
XFX. Don't take offense that we don't share your view.

I just wanted to update my situation and say that the EVGA team are working with me right now to issue me replacements for my 460's. They are supposed to arrive within a week or two and I am very excited. Yes we had to move a bit forward and backwards for a little while and I wish that could have been avoided but the bottom line is that we are there and I am happy. The new cards were tested and Hopefully are packaged well and will work out of the box.

Looks like this thread and me forwarding this issue to EVGAJ.Darwin has bought out some much needed attention from EVGA for a lot of us, Thanks to Matt for joining up the forums to assist us on Behalf of EVGA. I would also like to specially thank the EVGA Taiwan team and the few other individuals who have worked with me over the months to resolve this. smile.gif

I have no more ill feelings towards EVGA.
