Skyrim not working on my ati hd 7970.

Hey guys, I installed my HD 7970, but skyrim isn't working. (i have an eyefinity setup)
I've Tried: New drivers
running in windowed mode
forcing custom resolutions in the skyrimpref.ini (instead of 5760 x 1080 1920x1080 or 640x480)
patching skyrim

I still get the error: failed to initialize renderer: resolution not supported or in windowed mode: adapter doesn't support windowed mode.
All the settings in the launcher and unchangeable, i cannot select a resolution or change msaa or AF filtering. I can change quality settings, but that doesn't matter right now.
Has anyone else had any problems or any solutions?

BTW: it seems as if it decets the name of my adapter, but it thinks it sucks because it defaults it at low-quality.

Is that the only game that's currently having issues? Have you tried to play other games?

Glad that fixed the problem, I make a habit of when ever install new hardware is to due a windows system reinstall, so my computer can be configured with the new hardware in mind.

I did a full re-install and that did nothing :/. And yes that is the only game having troubles

Re-install windows just for skyrim? I have never heard of ever having to do that with ANY game. . . I would be very upset if that is the case. I will check back in with my progress... or degress..
