You can get better than that Just keep an eye on the temps.

Knock RAM back to 5:6 (DDR2 667) or maybe even 1:1 (DDR2 533), and go up more. RAM might start to hold yuo back at the current speeds.

You should be able to hit 310x10 at stock voltage. You can take that CPU a lot higher you know Even on stock air and certainly with after market cooling like you have in your sig. TAT is fine up into the 65c range btw...

Skim through my first several pages and take a look at what I did with stock air. I also added a chart with my settings. Your board is slightly different but its pretty darn close and I have used both those boards so feel free to ask me questions.

See post #75 in particular

BTW...I have vcore at 1.38 in BIOS, 1.37 was not enough at 3.2ghz, PcMark 05' scores jumped up considerably when i bumped the vcore up.

TAT shows 45c idle and 59c load.

Here is the log.
E6700 Retail (NewEgg) Batch # L624A613:

Stock:
The e6700 CPU was installed utilizing the stock retail air cooler.
Stock speed:
FSB 267 Multi x 10 => 2.67ghz
Ram 267 1/1 => 534Mhz
SuperPi =>19 Seconds
Bios => Default
Observations: The BIOS appears limited and geared more towards a Media Center enthusiast rather than an Overclocker. I was surprised by the limited number of settings on a board with a price tag of close to $300.00.

OC 1:
Bios settings consisted of a RAM divider 1/1 and FSB setting of 300. No other adjustments were made in any other areas.
Result: System Post and SuperPi completed without incident.
FSB 300 Multi x 10 => 3Ghz
Ram 300 1/1 => 600Mhz
SuperPi =>17.5 Secs
Bios => Default

OC 2:
Bios settings consisted of a RAM divider 1/1 and FSB setting of 315. No other adjustments were made in any other areas.
Result: System Post and SuperPi completed without incident.
FSB 315 Multi x 10 => 3.15ghz
Ram 315 1/1 => 630Mhz
SuperPi =>16 Seconds
Bios => Default

OC 3:
My initial bios settings consisted of a RAM divider 1/1 and FSB setting of 320. No other adjustments were made in any other areas.
Result: Bios Post and message displayed stating Overclocking too high or voltage unstable.
Action Taken: Increased Vcore but no boot was possible. Action 2 flashed to latest bios version: 1101
Result: System Post and SuperPi completed without incident.
FSB 320 Multi x 10 => 3.20ghz
Ram 320 1/1 => 640Mhz
SuperPi =>15.9 Seconds
Bios => 1101

OC 4:
Bios settings consisted of a RAM divider 5/4 and FSB setting of 330. No other adjustments were made in any other areas.
Result: System Post and SuperPi completed without incident.
