Best Portable Thin Light Netbook/Laptop for Travel (non-gaming)

I am looking for the best thin/light/portable/powerful netbook or laptop for travel overseas...NOT for gaming. What would you guys suggest? Asus Eee PC 1215B? Any laptop as portable and travel friendly? power/speed of laptop would be nice...

A nice screen would be a big plus.

hmmm pretty much anything under $1500...but iv'e never seen a netbook over $1000. im willing to go a little over the "best bang for buck". Btw - I have a Vaio Z...which I think is the closest thing to a small portable laptop as you can get...but im not sure its optimal for rigid travel.

Well Asus Zenbook 13.3' is amazingly light and quick. If your willing to let go of a housed cd drive then its a winner.

There is an alternative, which is better than macbook and zenbook in my opinion, its this samsung.

Its a bit more, but you will probably be able to find cheaper. Its beautiful! Seen it in person and got to play around on it and it felt great.

So...it looks like I want an ULTRABOOK. Asus Zenbook the best from this list? (under "First phase (Q4 2011, Q1 2012)" header)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultrabook#First_phase_.28Q4_2011.29

Looks like the Asus UX31 is the only one with 1600x900..I think I found my winner.
