Are these temps safe for 6950 crossfire?

Thread Starter
I just got done running Furmark to see how hot both of my Sapphire 6950's can get at max load. My frist, top card, reached a maximum of 81c and my second, bottom card hit a maximum of 68c. That's with an ambient case temperature of 28.6c according to my fan controller.

Here's a pic of the spacing of my cards:

81c is fine yes, you might be able to reduce the temps slightly if you improve the cable management and get some cool air blowing between them. Nice looking rig btw.

For how that looks, no space between the cards, 81'C is a great temperature under Furmark load.

That is a fantastic temperature considering your cards are stuck together. I know GTX 480's when stuck together in SLI go beyond 100C.

Thanks guys biggrin.gif I will be cleaning up my cable's today and see if I can zip tie a 120mm spare fan I have to my 6950's to help suck the air coming from my side panel 140mm fan xD
