Thread Starter
Hi Guys,

Firstly I would like to thank you all for your valuable inputs to my problems. I come back to "close" this thread by reporting the conclusions I came up with in case this helps somebody else...

1. Regarding the problem with the tacho signal of my pumps and the fact that one of the pumps was stopping when i was connecting its tacho signal to an rpm reader, the solution was:
Removal of the pumps from the Phobya external dc supplier: http://www.aquatuning.de/product_info.php/info/p11968_Phobya-external-PSU-230V-to-4Pin-Molex-90W-including-Euro-UK-plug.html
I dont know why, but both pumps and their tacho signal worked perfect as soon as i disconnected these from the phobya unit and used the normal molex of my PC.

2. Regarding Swiftech Epsilon waterblock and my 6990 death (which is the part that worried me mostly)
Apparently, and after having sent pictures to Gabe (swiftech) it was obvious that the block had substantial bending issues, caused during transport. So, I had to spend quite a few money to replace my 6990 with 2x 7970 and now I am waiting for the replacement of the block with 2 brand new Swiftech Komodo blocks for the 7970s.

At this point, I would like to mention that appart from this thread's superb support, during my "investigation phase", from day 1 I had also the full support of Swiftech (Gabe) sometimes 2 and 3 times per day (even weekends) and with technical data and support you cannot imagine. Maybe Swiftech's warranty disclaimer states clearly that it covers only swiftech's parts (something I can understand) -meaning I had to pay for the replacement of my card- but I must say, that Swiftech's/Gabe's 24/7 support and customer care, really impressed me! thumb.gif

Thanks guys!
