Recommend me a Gaming Mouse for BIG Hands

Hey everyone, looking to replace my deathadder, while i love the shape, I want to try something new

I have large hands, and palm grip, and my pinky is always dragging on the mousepad (kinda annoying but ive learned to live with it)

Also note that I developed the bad habit of lifting my mouse and recentering it on my mouse pad, so a mouse with bad sensor/liftoff issues wouldnt be for me at all

I never change DPI on the mouse, usually a set-it-and-forget it at around 1800 or so

If possible, I would like it to have red led/switchable led/or no led colors so it can match my sidewinder x4 keyboard

What do you guys recommend?

How is the g500 for large mitts? RAT 5/7?

The G500 would be perfect for you.

Dont. Do not "upgrade" the mouse.

I made the same mistake and "upgraded" to a G700 which has the same sensor as the G500 and it was bad due to the acceleration, compared to the DA. The RAT 5/7 are worse.

The DA is imo the best mouse on the market for FPS, and if you like its shape etc.etc. do NOT change it.

I came in here ready to recommend the DeathAdder tongue.gif. Anyhow, Logitech apparently just fixed the issue with the G400, so I bet that would be a good choice. It's a rehashed MX518 (used to have this myself, also having large hands) and I loved it while I had it.

I have the same problem of my pinky dragging with a lot of mice and I have a G500 as well. It is pretty big and it is perfect for palm grip with large hands. I am selling it or trading it too so PM me if your interested.

Another large mouse is the SteelSerries WoW mouse but I am not sure if that would be your kind of thing or not.

I currently use and am trying to sell my RAT7 on OCN, look it up if you want tongue.gif It works great and has a pinky rest if you dont want your pinky on the mousepad. It also has an adjustable plam size and weight so it can be very versatile and fit anyone's needs. I am pretty sure the side LEDs are red on the mouse, to let you know which dpi setting you are on, I usually leave mine at 2 or 3 out of 4. There is another LED that tells you what profile you are using, I only use one profile so I just keep it red as well. The only issue with the RAT7 I have ever had was if the sensor has a piece of hair in the way, It will hardly function, all I have to do is blow on it and it works perfectly again. It might happen like once a month, and I have a cat.

I havent tried the g500 so I cannot comment on that.

Thanks for all the quick responses, everyone

Looks like my options right now are to keep the DA, or check out the g500/g400

How do the shapes compare between the g400 and g500? it looks like the g500 has more of a bulge (thats what she said wink.gif) so my hand would rest higher off the mouse pad?

I actually used to have a friend who used a g500. He loved it, but his pinky was still hitting the mousepad as well. He complained about it because he hated how it felt, but he was a big guy, he skyrocketed over me, he was probably like 6'4 or something xD. So, it isn't too high off of the ground. But it would be big enough for someone with small or medium hands so that their pinky wouldnt hit the ground.

Big hands here, G500 isn't all that big. My pinky is always on the mousepad, kinda wish there were bigger mice.
