Anyhow, every time Apple has released a new iPad, it blew everything else out of the water for months.
Apple doesn't release information on their breakthroughs. Let me know where you can buy a Tegra 3 tablet right now.

Oh okay. Microsoft.

Didn't the CEO of Apple attack Microsoft, saying that Windows 7 was inferior because there were more users who had upgraded to Lion OS than people from XP and Vista to 7?

As for the product specs, I was under the influence they just decided to do a major architecture revamp and stuck with a higher clocked dual core even still. o.O I heard it was to be something like 1.5GHz+.

It could be that, but if you look at the load averages in the system menu, mine are always above 1.

Right now they're 1.1, 1.06, 1.05. I'm not sure if the load averages are the same as on unix, but if they are then it's not a good sign.

I wouldn't mind if the crashes meant something, like if i was trying to load a bulky webpage. But they're seemingly random.

It's only safari that crashes too.

iOS is dog-slow on older iOS devices in my experience. It's plenty fast on my 4S*, but on my sister's second-gen iPod touch and several friend's 3G and 3GS's it's Lag Central. Navigating through menus, loading sites in mobile Safari, launching games, you name it, it's horrendous. Hangs, freezes, random reboots. Strange, I thought only Android has those issues.

It's funny that earlier you dismissed anecdotes from several posters regarding iOS battery life, and then a few pages later you turn around and counter claims of iOS instability with anecdotal evidence of your own. "LOL my 3GS never crashed, therefore iOS never crashes."

*Free Christmas gift. Did not give money to Apple.

I don't dismiss everyone's experience, only those that I think reek of nonsense. I never said iOS devices don't have problems. But I believe most people HERE that have problems are a result of jail breaking. I can see iOS5 not running well on the 3G. I know for my own personal experience that it runs perfectly fine on 3GS and up. Crashing all the time? Hangs, freezes? Just have a hard time believing it.

Just like iOS5 did with the ipad 1.

Mine must be a golden ipad 1 or simply that I am lucky because I haven't had one crash yet on my ipad 1 on 5.0.1 jailbroken.

Yeah I don't know where a lot of these things are coming from. Before I upgraded my 3gs to a thunderbolt I was running ios 5.0.0 and never had a single problem with it hanging, freezing, or crashing.

Jail breaking doesn't make your device unstable. Putting dumb stuff on it does. My iPhone 4 is running 5.0.1 jail broken, and it doesn't crash. Older devices have, historically, had issues running the newest iOS releases. It's just a fact.

Very true. Same thing can be said about Android. In fact, you could say the same thing about all operating systems. Windows, OSX, etc.
I try to tell my users that all the time. "No, you don't need a new computer. You just need to get some of that crap software and junk off of there."

What was so unbelievable about the experiences mentioned by Dragonii?

lolno, jailbreaking doesn't affect stability or battery wear. That Apple propaganda isn't going to work here.

All devices I mentioned are running 3.x and 4.x, not 5.0. I don't think 5.0 is even available for the second-gen touch.
