But these PS3 game prices are over the top. First the console is off-the-charts expensive, 20% more than the competition (and not going to be dropped in the US, like it has been in apan); and now the games are more expensive too, 17%-25% more expensive than the competition? Seriously...what is Sony smoking? They are quite literally killing themselves before the console even hits the shelves!
Agreed, $80 for a video game? Sorry Sony, this is exactly like the games in the end of the 16 bit era. $75 for mortal kombat 2 and all. It has to be a damn fine game for me to even spend $50 call me cheap but thats how it is, $60?, it better be game of the year material. $80? Not gonna happen, I maintain, no Final Fanstasy game is worth $80, no Metal Gear Solid is worth $80, Gran Turismo is going to charge you for "unlockable" content, OH YA AND $80 for the game... Tekken maybe? Not for $80... Oh joy WWE SmackDown Uber Sweaty Edition... $80, Madden or any of the plethora of EA sports games $80, no thanks. The cost of development does not warrant $80 and the only reason it is this way is because Sony has a massive (and unjustified) tech erection for blu-ray.
It's f-ing highway robbery, they're using blu-ray to jack up costs, and for what, so we can watch movies in hi-def? Cause games need 30 gigs? We're not stupid Sony. Is hi-def worth these kinds of prices? No. F blu-ray!!! F Sony, and F the ps3 up it's you know where, with a giant enemy crabs weak spot for massive damage, YOU HEAR THAT KAZ?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Z0MG PS3 PRICE IS IMBA11!!1 F1X PLZ!1!
