Other than that the Screenshots look good for submission smile.gif

Edit: just to quote myself in another thread:
Quote:
A lot of the high end point scores (2pts and above) are usually set on virgin, stripped systems - fresh clean OS, correct drivers, so nothing can affect the score. Then, the hardware is tweaked and overclocked until it is barely stable to run the test. On the limit of the overclock (dependant on hardware itself, processor, cooling), a good competitive score should be highly favourable for your CPU and GPU clocks.

So your 3D11 score on the 5750 was 15th out of 18. 3D11 is CPU and GPU dependant - so on a fresh installed system, crank up the CPU, and some more on the GPU, and you may be hitting a higher position. The only downside is, that that is still probably only worth 0.1 pts. This game, this sport, is always about learning what is and isn't possible, in terms of the overclock and the scoring system. Hence why it's a little tricky to just 'bench your main PC' and hope for some high scores, especially when we're all super competitive.

But we're all here to help whenever you need it

Yeah, I'm locked out as well biggrin.gif

I hear ya mate. Problem is, it's getting nearly impossible to push my card beyond 840Mhz on the core due to voltage control being locked. Screw XFX mad.gif

I could barely complete the benches @ 3.8Ghz due to temp issues. I had to set a pretty low voltage that barely got the chip stable. I really need a better cooler if I'm looking at 4Ghz+ for benching.

They're shouldn't be voltage locked smile.gif Using MSI Afterburner, goto the .cfg file, change unofficial overclocking to 1, and put this in the EULA bit:

I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it

Then go to settings in afterburner, unlock voltage control, restart afterburner, bobs your teapot.

XFX will have a locked BIOS, I had the same problem with my XFX 5870, I had to flash it to an ASUS BIOS to unlock the voltage with afterburner

Hey guys
im kinda a noob to the teams but would like to get started in this and folding at home.
if some one would describe what this is and how to contribute that would be great. Also i don't even know if my system is capable of helping the team. I'm running an intel 2600k which will soon be overclocked, 2 way sli with gtx 460's and a dedicated physx superclocked gtx 470, 2 ocz vertex 2 SSD's, and all my parts for liquid/thermoelectric cooling are coming in tomorrow so i can start overclocking.
any help or info is appreciated.
P.S. for my birthday in march im thinking about getting 2 GTX 580's

I've already posted my current benches on HWbot. Here are the screens on what I've managed so far:
3DMark11 snip

My current 5750 rank is 16th.

3DMark06 snip

SUPER PI snip

This is all with my current OC of 3.57Ghz on the chip. I can't go higher due to temp and board limitations. I'll push my hardware as much as I can once i get a new cooler and board.

Your 5750 should be able to hit 1GHz+ easily,

i don't know about the other benches, but with the right temps and voltage, your 5750 should be able to hit around 1050-1100+ MHz on 3DMark Vantage thumb.gif

edit: And there is a post on the 5750 club about how to pencilmod your 5750, although i can't remember which page it was in.

That doesn't help. It's a a limitation that XFX have custom-set on the card.

I tried flashing it to the the Sapphire 5750/5770 Bios, XFX 6750/6770 BIOS, MSI 5750/5770 BIOS. NOTHING WORKED mad.gif. I even tried forcing a higher voltage using RBE but it just kept reverting back. I guess the XFX variant of this card is impossible to tweak voltages with.

How did you manage to get the core that high? Pencil-modding is not my area frown.gif
