It only has 2 metal poles for power connection in the one corner so it didnt matter how it was wired. Soldered the wire to the poles, shrink wrapped it, then taped it.
The Fan is 100% metal construction (blades, shroud, everything) so its got some heft to it.

Oh.. Damn. lol

LMAO Definitely this. Infact, I'd weld it onto a metal pole and use it as a weed whacker haha

You could decapitate a finger in a Delta fan if you have it on full and you stick your finger in there at the right time and right angle. Slim chance, but I severely injured the tip of my index from doing that. I had it hooked up to a 12v molex connecter, OWW!!!!

Yea, I'm pretty scared of my Scythe GT AP30's actually redface.gif

Sometimes when I boot up my rig they spin up to full speed (they have the PWM mod so they run @ +/- 1200 rpm most of the time) and it's like they bark at me because I woke them up .
I do clean them regularly and they get all the voltage/amperage they want so I don't know where this behaviour comes from frown.gif

I scared the crap out of myself when I first turned on my PC with my HD 5970. The fan went to 100% for about 1 second then went normal. I nearly crapped myself.
